Self-tapes can range from a simple introduction, hand display, and side profiles to a fully scripted performance delivered to the camera. Many of our clients find that reviewing self-tape auditions helps streamline the casting process, making it easier to select the perfect talent for their TV production, film, commercial, photoshoot, or live event. • Can I cancel or amend my booking?
Yes, you can cancel or amend your talent booking if your production plans change. However, please note that any cancellations or amendments made within 48 hours of your shoot date may incur a charge. For full details on our cancellation policy, rescheduling, and booking terms, please refer to our T&Cs or contact our team, who will be happy to assist with any adjustments to your TV production, film, commercial, photoshoot, or live event booking.
  • Do I need to provide clothing and accessories for my talent?
No, you don’t! Our experienced models, actors, presenters, and performers have a versatile selection of basic wardrobe and accessories suitable for most TV productions, films, commercials, photoshoots, and live events. If your project requires specific outfits, we can arrange for our talent to purchase additional items, with costs reimbursed later. Need a professional stylist? We can recommend one from our creative team and include this in your booking. A stylist can source wardrobe in advance and be on hand throughout the shoot to ensure everything runs smoothly. TOP TIP: Providing a wardrobe mood board can be incredibly helpful for our team and talent, ensuring your styling requirements are met with precision.
  • Do I need to book a make up artist?
Most of our models, actors, and presenters are experienced in doing their own hair and makeup for shoots. However, we always recommend booking a professional makeup artist (MUA) to ensure a consistent, high-quality look throughout your TV production, film, commercial, photoshoot, or live event. A makeup artist not only enhances the final visuals but also helps keep the shoot running smoothly by ensuring touch-ups and continuity throughout the day. If you need a professional MUA, we can recommend one from our creative team and seamlessly add them to your booking.
  • What should I expect from my talent?
All of our models, actors, presenters, and performers are experienced professionals who arrive on time and prepared for your TV production, film, commercial, photoshoot, or live event. Presentation: Talent will have clean, fresh hair and skin, ready for makeup and styling. Nails: Should be clean and free from polish, unless a specific look has been requested. Professionalism: Our talent are accustomed to working on a variety of industry assignments and will bring a positive, professional attitude to your project. If you need to extend your booking beyond the agreed hours, overtime can be arranged on the day without requiring an additional contract.
  • Do I need to provide food and drink for my talent?
No, you’re not required to provide food and drink for your models, actors, presenters, or performers. However, we always recommend offering lunch and refreshments where possible, as this helps keep the shoot running smoothly and ensures talent remain energized throughout your TV production, film, commercial, photoshoot, or live event. If you prefer talent to bring their own food and drinks, please let us know in advance so we can inform them accordingly.
  • Do I own the images and/or videos?
There are two usage rights options available for your TV production, film, commercial, or photoshoot content: Time-Limited Usage – You can request rights for a specific number of years, after which the usage rights will expire. In Perpetuity – You can secure perpetual usage rights, meaning you own the images or videos for the agreed-upon usage terms indefinitely. If you’re unsure which option best suits your project, our team can advise on the most suitable licensing and usage rights for your content.
  • What does the term 'usage' mean?
‘Usage’ refers to the rights and permissions you have for the images and/or videos featuring our models, actors, presenters, and performers. It determines where, how long, and in what capacity the content can be used. Common usage types include: TV & Film – Broadcast, streaming, or cinematic distribution. Social Media – Promotional use on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. In-House – Internal company use, such as training or presentations. Out-of-House – Public-facing marketing, including billboards and advertising campaigns. Point of Sale (POS) – Retail and in-store promotional displays. Video on Demand (VOD) – Platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube ads. Usage rights must be agreed upon before your shoot to ensure proper licensing. If you need advice on selecting the right usage terms for your TV production, film, commercial, or digital campaign, our team is happy to assist.
